How to Join Zoom Meeting? Make sure to have a microphone and speakers or headphones plugged into your computer before joining the Zoom Meeting. To join the Zoom Meeting, open your Internet browser and navigate to www.zoom.us. Click on the “Sign Up for Free” button. It will take you to a website, where you can choose between creating an account or signing in with an existing Facebook, Google, or Microsoft Account.

If you are creating a new account, fill out all of the required information. This may include entering your name, email address, password, country/region, company/organization, phone number (optional). Finally, click on create an account.

After creating your Zoom profile, check your email for a verification code that will be sent to confirm that you own the email address entered during registration. Once verified successfully, log in using the email address and password created for your Zoom account.

Once logged in successfully, click on the ‘Start a Meeting’ button to get started with your first Zoom meeting. If this is your first time using Zoom, you will have to agree to the Terms of Service. Then enter in the meeting number or link that was sent out via email. You may also click on one of the suggested rooms.

Joining Options

Option 1: Web Browser

Launch your web browser. Enter the Zoom Meeting room URL into the address bar and press “Enter” on your keyboard. Click “Join”.

Option 2: Desktop App

Click on the Zoom Meeting icon in the top right corner of your screen, next to where it says “File”, “Edit”, etc… Select a zoom meeting from the list. Enter Password if necessary. Click “Join”. Make sure you have speakers or headphones plugged in before clicking join! Note: You will not hear anything until other users in the meeting speak. Also, make sure that when they speak you can hear them, otherwise, they won’t be able to hear you.

Option 3: Mobile Device

Make sure you have the Zoom Meeting app installed on your mobile device before trying to join via this method. Open the Zoom Meeting app and click “Join Meeting” in the top right corner of your screen, next to where it says “File”, “Edit”, etc… Enter Password if necessary. Click “OK”. Make sure that speakers or headphones are plugged into your phone/tablet before joining. Note: You will not hear anything until other users in the meeting speak. Also, make sure that when they speak you can hear them, otherwise, they won’t be able to hear you.

How do I leave a Zoom Meeting? 

Note: It may take up to 45 seconds for your computer to disconnect after clicking “Leave Meeting.”

To leave a Zoom Meeting, simply press the Escape key on your keyboard. This will close out of the meeting and return you back to your computer desktop. You can also use this method if you are experiencing any technical issues while participating in a Zoom Meeting.

How to join Zoom Meeting on iPhone?

For Apple iPhone users, there are two steps to join Zoom meetings.

1. Download the free application from the app store for iPhone/iPad

2. After installed, the open Safari browser on your phone and enter this URL:

zoom.us/j/2475641802 or www3.zoom.us/j/2475641802

Then you will find the QR code on the web page, scanning it with your built-in camera can be a better way to join Zoom meetings smoothly by entering meeting number 2475641802 then clicking the Join Meeting button. If you have not got the chance to scan the QR code, just enter the meeting number after clicking the Meeting Number link.

For Android phone or tablet users, you can use this URL to join the Zoom meeting:

zoom.us/j/2475641802 or www3.zoom.us/j/2475641802

By clicking the Meeting Number link, the QR code will pop up, and scanning it with your built-in camera can be a better way to join Zoom meeting smoothly by entering meeting number 2475641802 then clicking the Join Meeting button. And if you have not got the chance to scan the QR code, just enter the meeting number after clicking the Meeting Number link then click the Join Meeting button again. Then you will get into the Zoom meeting successfully!

How to check Zoom Meeting History

HOW TO CHECK ZOOM MEETING HISTORY USING “HISTORY_ID”

Go to the following address below with your web browser.

https://zoom.us/meetinghistory?s={HistoryId}&x=0&y=0&a1=AudioOnly

Here is an example of what you should see when you access it (you’ll need to change {HistoryId} to your actual History ID) :

NOTE:  If you only want the audio file, remove everything after &a1=. If you want all files (audio + presentation), leave &a1= at the end like in the example above (or add more &…=… after it)

HOW TO CHECK ZOOM MEETING HISTORY USING THE LINK IN THE EMAIL RECEIVED AFTER THE CONFERENCE IS OVER 

You can also check your Zoom meeting history by using the link in the email you received at the end of the conference. Here is an example: http://us04-cdn.zoom.us/meetinghistory?action=viewPastConfs&s={HistoryId}&x=0&y=0 You’ll need to change {HistoryId} to your actual History ID as shown below: NOTE: If you only want the audio, remove everything after &a1=. If you are a customer of someone that provides Zoom Meeting services, then chances are that they have sent you an email with the following link to check your meeting history: http://www.yourcompanyname.com/meetinghistory?action=viewPastConfs&s={HistoryId}&x=0&y=0 You’ll need to change {HistoryId} to your actual History ID as shown below: NOTE: If you only want the audio, remove everything after &a1=. If you want all files (audio + presentation), leave &a1= at the end like in the example above (or add more &…=… after it)

HOW TO CHECK ZOOM MEETING HISTORY USING THE EMAIL FROM YOUR COMPANY’S SUPPORT TEAM – IF YOU ARE A CUSTOMER OF GOOGLE/HOSTED VOICE ETC. 

If your company is a customer of Google or Hosted Voice then chances are that they have sent you an email with information about Zoom meeting history. How do I join a Zoom Meeting without downloading

1) Login at http://zoom.us/signin

2) Press “Meeting Number” and enter your meeting number which will be provided by your organizer or administrator

3) Press “Join”

4) Enter your name and password if asking for permission to use the camera & microphone, etc.

5) You are ready to go.

6) If you need an attendee access code, press the “Enter Code” button on that page and then provide a dial-in access code which will be provided by your organizer or administrator

7) Press “Enter” and you will get connected.
