Bauer’s Accounting Department professors have been recognized as among the most productive in the world. They also set themselves apart with research that is published in major academic publications and presented at national and international conferences and universities, as well as fieldwork was done in collaboration with accounting faculty from other institutions.

The Department of Decision & Information Sciences at LSU has multiple faculty that have distinguished themselves in various ways: Professor Wynne Chin was named one of the world’s top five human-computer interaction researchers by his peers, as well as other instructors for their research significance, in the Management Information Systems area.
Bauer’s Management department has one of only five Academy of Management Journal Hall of Fame Members in the United States, according to the school. John Ivancevich, the #1-ranking Hall of Fame Member, is a Cullen Chair Professor at UCI and Robert Keller, a Baker Hughes Professor at UCLA, is another one of the 33 individuals worldwide chosen to the AOMJ hall of fame.

The catalog year for your degree plan is the catalog year when you joined UH or based on the transfer coursework you have taken and when you started at a Texas public two- or four-year institution with continuous enrollment. The decision tree below will be used to help you choose the right fit.
Fall 2020 and Fall 2021 Plans: If you haven’t studied calculus, don’t worry — MATH 1325 or MATH 2413 (formerly MATH 1314 or MATH 1431) — Then follow the Fall 2020 or Fall 2021 plans. (They both have the same requirements).
Fall 2019 Plan: If you’ve taken calculus, congratulations — MATH 1325 or MATH 2413 (formerly MATH 1314 or MATH 1431) — If you go to a public school in Texas and have been continuously enrolled, then you can follow the Fall 2019 plan.
Fall 2018 Plan: If you have taken calculus — MATH 1325 or MATH 2413 (formerly MATH 1314 or MATH 1431) — If you went to a two- or four-year public school in Texas and started in Fall 2019, and have not taken a long break from going to the school, then you will follow the Fall 2018 plan.
